Thirteen Stories Down

This is a song we recorded during the making of Better Days that ultimately didn't get included on the album. It's a very special song to us, and we want to finally share it with you now.

It's been a quiet year for us on the surface, but we've been busy behind the scenes. Look forward to knew things to come in 2017.

Acoustic Trio Show

We'll be playing an extended set next week at the Roxy as an acoustic trio without our dear drummer Max. Don't panic, he'll be back again for the next one. Looking forward to putting together a unique setlist for this one.

Changes

We have some good news and bad news. We'll start by getting the bad out of the way first.

Going forward, our brother Jay Esplana will no longer be performing with us. Jay has been an incredible part of this band and we're sad to see him go, but we wish him all the best in his current and future musical endeavours.

As for the good news, No Island is carrying on with our remaining four members, and you can see us in action Saturday February 27 at Studio Records in Vancouver. The very talented Nikko Whitworth will be filling in on bass for this show.

We're looking forward to a busy 2016 full of shows and finishing up the last of the cover videos we still owe some of you who helped fund our album.

Goodbye, Glenn Frey

News that the world lost Glenn Frey today hit us hard. The Eagles were always a big influence to us, and Glenn Frey was an essential part of their sound. Here's our humble tribute to what he once said was his favourite Eagles song.
